During your next trip to the lovely Lake of the Ozarks, if you love Mexican food, you have to try Pablito's. Three of my friends and I went yesterday and WOW!! This is fantastic food. One friend raved about the chimichanga and the fresh, savory homestyle refried beans. If you're lucky enough to be there when they have the house special fish or shrimp tacos, dont pass those by...they are extraordinary! The fish taco has two generous portions of delicate, white flaky fish fried up in a light, almost tempura like batter. Wonderful crunch on the outside with piping hot, flaky moist fish inside. The tacos have fresh (super fresh) slaw, pico and crema fresca. Every bite is a great bite. The shrimp tacos are equally generous...four LARGE shrimp in that same delectable batter, pico, etc. The margaritas are delicious (we tried mango, strawberry, peach and traditional...all juicy, tangy and delicious.) And don't forget the queso!

Food was good. Service was good. From reading other reviews I guess I may have had higher expectations. Lot of choices for Mexican at The Lake of the Ozarks that may offer a better experience. But, it was not bad, just nothing extraordinary.

This is an amazing taqueria!!! The tacos are authentic and DELIcIous!! Amazing service! Chips come to you right away!! Individual salsas!! The queso blanco is amazing!!! Perfect!!!! Burritos are huge!! I will absolutely return here!! It is a must go to!!

Great new small restaurant at the Lake. They immediately seat you and deliver chips and salsa to you. The salsa is not to spicy and of the smooth consistency.
We ordered cheese dip for the chips and it was delicious. We also ordered a side of guacamole dip and it was chunky and a little bit lacking for salt.
My wife ordered a chicken burrito what she loved. I ordered shrimp filled enchiladas covered in cheese which were accompanied by beans and rice. I had never had this entree before at any Mexican restaurant and it was very very tasty and well prepared.
The owner said they had only been open a month and we're still getting their feet with with everything. Unfortunately they did not have any desserts at this time. I look forward to them getting sopapilla's or flaum or some other great Mexican desserts.

On Old 54 in Osage Beach,MO you will find AUTHENTIC Mexican cuisine. Great service. Great margaritas. And don't bypass the HOMEMADE tamales. The burritos are HUGE and tasty. A true south of the border experience at the lake run by a fantastic family. The mural on the wall reflects the family aspect of the restaurant-- they represent the three daughters. Easy to drive past, but don't.
